what's in a name
Picking names is hard.
Especially with a last name like "Teitelbaum". It always has to be spelled, so the first name should be something easy and relatively common. It also has to avoid any nasty teasing with "Tight Bum". "Ima" is right out.
If we were having a boy, it would probably be "Seth Robert". Short and easy first name. Named after Dad for the middle name.
Girls are HARDER. I think girls should have nicknameable names because they may not keep this last name after marriage. So you never know what future name they may have. And nearly anything can be made into a girl's name.
To narrow it down, we thought we'd try to focus on "CJ" for initials because sean's middle name starts with C, and mine with J.
Cadence--came from letters in Camden and the verbage of the Army.
J...that's been a tough one. At first, I was thinking Joy-Louise to play off my middle name and Dad's middle name. But Sean doesn't like Joy so much.
Then we found out he has a great grandma Lillian, which is pretty. So throw in the J instead and get Jillian.
Cadence Jillian?
But Cadence is not all that common. I doubt we could find pencils prestamped with "Cadence" on them. My test for if a name is easy enough is if it is found on novelty items.
So if we go away from CJ, then what?
Lillian Grace?
Megan Roberta?
Amelia Jane?
I'm so undecided.

You can always imprint any item with a name. IF you enjoy the thought of Cadence, you know 'Jillian' will be ready to buy items.
You are really putting a lot of thought into this and you will be proud of the name you choose. Good luck with your choice. I will try and type some more names but it seems you are doing OK without all of them.
Hope you can decide.
I think Lillian Grace is pretty you could call her lilly or gracey..
Well, as far as the name imprinted on a novelty item, most things these days you can order with the name you choose. It's fairly painless...the boys received overnight tote bags with their names embroidered on them. :-)
Don't overthink this name thing too much. Your baby will love you and you will love her no matter what name you decide on.
