Typical Tricare: My test strips have a mandatory call-in refill (i.e. I can't just walk up to the counter and get them...must call). My strips were running low Monday, so I called in. The machine told me that any refills take 72 hours to complete. OK, so they would be done Wednesday, about when they would run out. Punch in numbers and alas, it was too EARLY to refill that script. Earliest time to call is Wednesday...the day they run out...thus won't be ready until Saturday...which leaves 3 days without test strips.

Brilliant.

And this is a federal holiday weekend, so they won't be ready until next Wednesday. Oh darn, a week without testing...I'm so heartbroken. @@
