The Eyes Have It

Abby's second eye surgery (or rather, surgery on her second eye) went well. We went in at 7:30 and they took her back around 9:30. She was being very brave and collected. We met back with her in recovery and went home around 3.

She slept most of the day yesterday but was mostly content. This morning, she was crying a bit more that her eye hurts and we took her back to the doc to get the bandage off. She opened her eye and was able to tell us how many fingers doc was holding up. She says it really hurts and seems like it is bothering her more than last time. So now we're home again and she is watching cartoons and thinking about taking some tylenol. She doesn't like taking medicine much.

Anyway, I think the worst part is over. Now she just has to heal up.
