Strikes! Career guy was supposed to talk to us today to see what he found out. Guess what? No communicato. He's like a fart in the wind. I swear he must only work 2 hours a day, 2 days a week because he is NEVER in. Granted, we have the luck of road kill, but perhaps we can blame this one on F13.

So we have to wait ALLLL weekend and then however long it takes to track him down next week. Bother. The good news is that Sean talked to his OIF 1 battle buddy in Des Moines who assures us that yes there is a couple of openings, and it is at a Regional level, not a local unit, and supposedly right now, the priority is to fill the big regional vacancies before you fill a small local unit. Fix the holes in the roof before you spackle the ceiling.

So again, we wait...
