SO tonight, we went out to dinner at "Rocco's Ristorante" in Ceredo, WV. Ceredo is a small town. It is on the other side of the tracks from Kenova, and the two towns together are maybe as big as Fulton. Nah, Fulton has a walmart. Maybe as big as Holts Summit if Holts Summit were condensed into a smaller area.
Roccos is only open for dinner from 5-10. That should have been our first clue. I wasn't expecting anything much in that area, small and impoverished as it is. It was quite nice inside. They had a huge wine selection. Real tablecloths. Candles on the table. We showed up in our jeans and tshirts and they sat us by ourselves by the bathrooms. It was kind of like a private dining room, but you had to wonder if they didn't want their other patrons seeing our clothes or hearing the kids.
Anyway, after four plates of noodles and some salad later, we got the bill. I don't recall spending that much on dinner ever. The only other time that came close was a small historic farmhouse in Virginia that supposedly General Robert E. Lee or some famous old guy had eaten at way back when. They charged quite a bit to eat in a cellar. I'm not sure what famous old guy ate at Rocco's to justify the price, but we won't be going back until we win a lottery. :)

It must be the same Rocco that had his own reality show where he was starting his restaurant in NYC???
