mentally and physically
exhausted. We did a quick run to Maryville to see Rob and Cindi and kids for Christmas. Travelling with a one year old is not easy. He slept most of the way up there, so he was really awake and ready to play well into the midnight hour. His sleeping cycles were off so that makes my sleeping cycles off, so yeah, tired much?
So today, we drove by Leavenworth on the way home to see what their housing looks like. It looks old. And tiny. Small could be dealt with perhaps, but these were tiny. We are talking duplexes not much bigger than our old Steedman house. So, cut that old house in half and that is what you might get to live in...plus you have to share a wall and hear your neighbors. And no garage. Some of the housing looked ok, but you never know what will be open until you are ready for the key.
So we grab some real estate guides and head for home. Nathan sleeps again but starts to get tired of being strapped down outside of Warrensburg. We crashed Bob and Jen's house for about an hour's play break. D has changed quite a bit since we saw him last. Nathan got some wiggling out and slept again until Jeff City, so that was nice. I'm sure we'll be up a looonnng time, tho.
On our answering maching was a message from sean's career manager. He "needs to talk" about Sean's move...hmm. I KNEW it! Here comes the fly about to hit the ointment...

Dang...you all need to cop a break somewhere....maybe he is gonna tell you that you don't need to sell your house and you can stay there. That would be cool. I will be praying for you.
It was good to see everyone even if it was on web cam. Maybe sometime soon we can get in a visit.
Love you!
Ok, we are dieing to hear the news about the message?! What happened?
